Lateral Data’s Viewpoint Platform allows users to perform simple document coding or more advanced inline analysis at an extremely fast productivity rate. At no extra charge, clients can choose to run a standard linear review or use our other cutting edge tools for detailed analysis. Our forensically-sound analysis tools allow for a deeper and more thorough review process. Our selection of advanced features includes:
| Near Duplicate Review: Our sophisticated Near Dupe Similarity Viewer is the perfect tool for shortening the review process. This feature automatically identifies and groups “near-duplicate” documents, spreadsheets, text files and other electronic data for side-by-side version comparison and mass coding. Options within the viewer allow users to selectively review differences only and to compress and wrap large document to eliminate redundant data quickly. Users can pre-code non-relevant data for exclusion from the review process early to save both time and costs. | Near Duplicate Review |
| E-mail Redundancy and Thread Management: Email Redundancy ID identifies and groups e-mail messages which are 100% contained in subsequent emails within the same thread. The redundancy algorithm analyzes the content of each message and ensures that previous versions of the same thread are contained within the later thread. Messages are presented in a proprietary side-by-side viewer and organized in a way that easily allows the user to identify the last email of the thread. Families may be identified within one data set or across multiple custodians to ensure consistent treatment of each thread, regardless of its source location. The entire family may be marked at one time, preventing inconsistencies across custodians or from message to message. | Email Redundancy & Thread Management |
| Relationship Analysis: Relationship Analysis provides users with the capability to identify and group all communication between multiple custodians, analyze patterns by content or date filters and dynamically group e-mail communications that have gone to various network domains (outside of the company, etc.) The Graphical User Interface allows the user to select custodians, domains and dates to better understand and analyze the communications within the time-frames specified. Visual objects representing each custodian are displayed to simplify the presentation of complex information to the user. | Relationship Analysis |
| Concept Analyzer: Concept Analyzer features allow the user to search and visually cluster documents by concepts for one or more sources. This implementation allows the user to select the concepts desired and can be done within a small data set, custodian, date range or across the entire corpus of data. Clustered concepts may then be reviewed immediately, saved to a personal folder, or used to create a View to allow multiple users to access, review and code. | Concept Analyzer |
